The Mid American Conference announced yesterday that the MAC Tournament will continue to be played despite four confirmed coronavirus cases in Cuyahoga County.

The MAC Tournament will have restricted access and will only be open to “credentialed institutional personnel, student-athlete family members, credentialed media, television and radio crews, and official team party members,” the website said.

For those who already purchased their tickets for any MAC Tournament games, fans will be given credit for next year’s tournament or a refund for their ticket(s).

Kent State women’s basketball will play in the quarterfinals tonight around 7:30 p.m. against the Buffalo Bulls.

After Monday night’s victory against Eastern Michigan, the men's basketball team will take on No.3 Ball State Thursday around 8:30p.m.
