Halloween Costumes (A Mag)

As Kent Halloween approaches, if you’re still stuck deciding what to dress up as, gathering pieces from your closet to make a costume may be the easiest and most budget friendly idea.

Here are 10 costume ideas that you can put together for little to no money for this upcoming Saturday.

Daring Devil

You’ll need:

  • Red top and bottoms (or substitute for black bottoms)
  • Red shoes (if you have them)
  • A cheap pair of devil horns; find some on Amazon here.

Wednesday Addams

You’ll need:

  • Black dress
  • White collared top
  • Black tights
  • Black boots or other black shoes

To finish off the look, give yourself a middle part and two braids. You can find multiple black dress styles from PrettyLittleThing.

Sassy Schoolgirl

You’ll need:

  • White button up top
  • Pleated plaid skirt
  • Glasses

Add two side pigtails for the complete schoolgirl look. There are various styles of plaid skirts, on sale at PrettyLittleThing.

Beautiful Bumblebee

You’ll need:

  • Striped top
  • Yellow skirt or bottoms
  • Make some antennas out of paper or find some on Amazon here.

Rosie the Riveter

You’ll need:

  • Denim top
  • Jeans
  • Red bandana. You can find these in store at Walmart for $1 or on Amazon.

70’s Chic

You’ll need:

  • Flowy long sleeve top or tie dye top
  • Denim pantsuit or flared pants
  • Sandals or boots
  • Add some fake flowers to your hair for the ultimate hippie vibe. Find some groovy flared pants on Amazon here.

Sandy from Grease

You’ll need:

  • Off the shoulder black top
  • Black leggings
  • Red shoes

Top off the look with some red lipstick and a leather jacket! Find some rockin’ leather pants and off the shoulder tops on Amazon here.

Risky Business

You’ll need:

  • White button up top
  • Boxer shorts or any other type of comfy shorts
  • Long socks
  • Sunglasses

Jam out to Old Time Rock N Roll with your completed look! You can easily thrift a button down for the look or find one on Amazon here.

Lovely Leopard

You’ll need:

  • Black Top
  • Leopard bottoms
  • Cat ears

Decorate your face with leopard spots, a black nose and whiskers to finish the look. Find cat ears from Target here.

Winnie the Pooh

You’ll need:

  • Red top
  • Yellow skirt or bottoms
  • Make some ears out of paper to bobby pin in your hair
