Fans of Kent State baseball will have a chance to gather and watch the Flashes continue their journey through the College World Series.

The game between Kent State and South Carolina will be screened live Wednesday at the Hometown Bank Plaza, located on the corner of North Water Street and West Main Street

The live screening is free to the public and begins at 8 p.m.

“This event is a way for the community to come together and cheer on the Golden Flashes,” said Pete Mahoney, special coordinator for Kent State’s Center for Student Involvement. “It is a prime example of the city and the university working together, and how the relationship between the city and the university has gotten stronger.”

The event is sponsored by Hometown Bank, the Center for Student Involvement and Kent City Parks and Recreation.
